"This hotel is amazing. We stayed in Room 3 and enjoyed a fantastic sea view. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We absolutely loved our stay. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. However, the breakfast service was a little disappointing. We stayed for two nights, and on both mornings we were told that they had run out of vegan sausages. The breakfast staff were not particularly helpful in addressing the issue. They charged £10 x day for parking, the space is very tight. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel, but there is room for improvement in the breakfast service, especially for guests with dietary requirements."

"This is such a wonderful hotel, in a picturesque location, from the warm welcome by staff to the spotless, modern room, to the luxury spa amenities and the fabulous breakfast. This is my third time here and there will certainly be a 4th, 5th and 6th etc!"

"Stayed 1st - 3rd of June. Absolutely amazing stay for our mini moon. The staff, the food, the room were all incredible. We can't wait to come back, so much so we have already pre booked a suite for our one year anniversary May 2027. Very relaxing stay just what we needed after a manic wedding weekend. The staff can't do enough for you, nothing is to much. We stayed in 222 unfortunately the ghostly activity didn't live up to other people reviews or maybe it just isn't haunted 😊 Old castle with great character but definitely no ghosts just the morning wake up call from the peacocks which we loved no complaints there. Thank you for a great stay and we can't wait to come back. 😊"

"We only stayed for one night at the hotel. It was conveniently located and cheap. The hotel itself was undergoing work so covered in scaffolding when we were there. Rooms were functional and clean but could do with upgrading. The staff were very helpful with regards to parking."

"The Staff were amazing. We had the best omelette made by the chef. I still have a lingering taste of the omelette. The Manager was very good and helpful and the staff too. We were unable to go to the spa, timing did not work for us. Rooms were clean except for one day, when we got a smell of cigarette smoke, and the hotel could not figure out where it was coming from as it affected a few rooms. Overall a great hotel and super food"
