The Beaches Hotel and Spa

"Good location, very close to the beach i.e literally at the hotel backyard. The kids enjoyed spending time at the beach. Good facilities and nice breakfast. The only gripe during our stay was that someone was constantly honking their car in the middle of the night (most probably from the nearby beach car park)."

"Old established hotel on the sea front. Great location. Staff very helpful Room was fine, comfy bed, large bathroom Car park was a scramble, pre-book if you can, as it's not big enough for the number of rooms in the hotel. Negative- breakfast, first morning everything was over cooked, burnt sausage, dry bacon, dry hash brown, over cooked eggs. OK for cereal and fruit and all the usual non cooked items. Disappointing for a 4 star hotel. It did improve slightly on the 2nd morning."

IXORA Hotel and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"This was a stay mainly to see the area not to use the facilities but the gym looked good . I wanted to use the pool one evening but it was closed at 6 when i went so beware of that . Food was great and good value . Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Excellent room for wheelchair users which my wife is . Brilliant wet room and excellent all round . Parking good also ."
