To call this place a Roach Motel would be insulting to Roaches...Ugh. At the price I was not expecting 4 star accomodations...but I do expect basic and clean. I slept in my clothes, as I did not want to pull the bed cover over me. I could not wait to leave...hoping no bed bugs followed me. I would have more comfortable sleeping in my car....

Very nice and quiet. Manager is very polite. Wi-Fi isn’t great but if you just need a safe quiet place for a couple nights very worth the price.

Modest but Okay

We arrived late, which the manager didn't like, so it was a bit of a fight to checkcin but he finally capitulated. The room was sparse but clean, the bed on the firm side of comfortable, and the pillows reasonable but not fluffy. The toilet did not work.

Makes motel 6 look good!

Not my type of room. The bed is too soft. The door needs a better lock. Not for old folks. The location was good for me to walk to McD. The manager would hep you any way he could. It's just an older motel. the price of 76 was ok for me. They don't take any money upfront because it might not be for the average traveler.

Simple room. Just stayed for a short night while roadtripping up CA. So met my needs of a comfy bed. Lots of noise from traffic outside on the street. Friendly reception staff, made sure everything was to my liking

On the Expedia website this property claims that it is 30 miles from Camp Roberts. It is more than 50 miles to Camp Roberts. The person we met at the hotel could not find our reservation on his cell phone. My daughter noticed roach eggs on a counter, and we departed. We never signed in or provide any payment information, but the $90 charge was posted against my credit card. This vendor's behavior is criminal.

If you’re not used to a rough neighborhood you shouldn’t stay here. There was shooting during the night. However, the room was very clean a bit outdated but consistent with the area. Remember this is a small town and very remote area.

An ordinary strip-mall motel, very old, but being worked on to update. Clean but, no soap, drinking glasses,towels,toilet paper.staff did not know how to make a bed - linens just thrown on bed, not tucked in. Very new refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The check-in person did not know how to check us in, barely spoke English - paid cash as did not want my credit card number known …

My room did not look anything like this...it had one bed, no bedspread, no pillows...the room looked a lot like a utility room with wires hanging from the television, a microwave perched on top of the refrigerator, curtains held together with binder clips. I arrived shortly after midnight to find the office closed. Manager came in from an upstairs unit,told me my reservation had been given to someone else (who had not yet shown up). Very unwelcome late arrival...I'd been driving all night.

Negative: You can tell the door had been busted in at my room. Doesn't take much to force the door (s) open. Doors have old school chains and not dead bolt locks to keep you safe. The manager seemed to give me an interview for the room as opposed to just quickly making the money without asking my business. Positive: They do have microwave, refrigerator, and t.v.
