The property looks exactly like the pictures. Incredible views from the pool and very quiet and peaceful. Like some of the other reviews a toaster would be nice, sharper knife and I would have liked to have a broom. We did get daily room cleanup.

This was the most beautiful place! The spaces were huge and luxurious. The pool was incredible and looked right out to the ocean. Staff were kind and efficient. I will be going back and staying here again.

Perfect getaway

These villas are just perfect. Adults only with a gorgeous warm swimming pool. Away from all the hussle of the town up in the hills, but still only 4m drive to the beach. Rosa and her husband were amazing and even helped fix our hire car when it broke down.

A perfect stay

This was our favorite place we stayed during our six weeks in Costa Rica. The villas are beautiful and the view of the sea is spectacular. The grounds are very well cared for and there are flowers everywhere. Our villa was spacious and private with a lovely terrace where we had cocktails, ate our meals and read books in the late afternoon. It was so peaceful. Upon arrival we were met by the owner who showed us around the villa and all week we were cared for by Rosa, who came in to clean every day. She is such a kind and friendly person, as is her husband, who takes care of the gardens and grounds. The infinity pool was always clean and cool (I think they must have a chiller). Montezuma has a nice beach, although parts of it are very rocky, and a beautiful waterfall that has a difficult climb to reach it. We loved the national parks in the area and went for walks in several of them and saw birds, monkeys and deer. We had a wonderful week and felt far away from the cares of the world.

Beautiful villas with the most beautiful view. The pool is magical, the patio areas the perfect place to look out on the ocean. The villas themselves are large and comfortable. Kitchens had everything we needed to make a meal. Highly recommend.

Spectacular views

This was a last minute decision and probably one of the best decisions of our life. The property is well maintained and it is absolutely beautiful. The only thing I was not a huge fan of is that our villa was just out of reach of wifi most of the time so it was hit or miss for our cell phones to work and the tv would not connect. Also the mattress was a little more stiffer than I am use too. However, after the long day at Tortuga I didn't even notice the second night from being exhausted. We will be coming back for a visit again.

Pros: - quiet, secluded - modern - good sized infinity pool with beautiful views - decent amount of dinnerware in kitchen Cons: - literally ZERO communication from anyone about checking in or checking out or info regarding the property. Supposedly the owner lives on the property, but never came to give us any info. The groundskeeper checked us in and no one was there to check out. The number provided to use on What’s App did not send replies even though the message said it was read. What if there was an emergency?! - list of rules in the room and rule #2 states “no animals” but the lady staying behind us had two dogs - TOUGH walk into town if you don’t have a vehicle: 1 km up a very steep and hot incline back to the property - Lots of ants and bugs in general inside the property - Advertised as having AC, but be advised this is ONLY in the bedroom and the Villa we stayed in did not have proper curtains (and one main window with none) so it got HOT in there - no cooking essentials like oil, salt, pepper, etc. which is unfortunate for a “luxury” stay - was told housekeeping was daily, but this was not the case. Used the same pool towel for SIX days as they are never replaced - no shade or cabana out by the pool For the price, I would encourage the owners to consider some important details to improve it, or for potential guests, to look elsewhere and compare before deciding.

This property is very beautiful, the pool is really nice and the villas are excellent and the view will take your breath away. The walk to town is 25 minutes and the hill is tough to walk if you are not in good shape. The owner lives on site, he is a friendly man but there is no reception and check in information was sent to me the day I arrived and had no internet connection. The road up to the villas is approximately 1 km long and is very steep, be aware of this. We originally booked the small room, which I strongly do not recommend. it is tiny and there is not much view. The owner offered us 1 of the villas for the last 4 days of our stay but he gave it to us at an elevated rate from what we would have paid on Expedia had we originally booked the villa. I don’t regret changing rooms but it felt like we had no choice but to take the villa as the small room would have not been enough for our stay.

La suite est vraiment magnifique et moderne avec une fenestration incroyable donnant sur la forêt et mer. Je ne mets pas 5/5 cependant, car c’était le seul endroit de notre voyage où il y avait autant d’insectes dans la maison. En allumant la lumière de salle de bain la nuit, on pouvait voir des dizaines de fourmis et autres insectes défiler sur le plancher, ce qui est moins plaisant. Mais somme toute, excellent séjour.
