Got room online for a week came from Texas spent a lot of money for the room had to stay .Thank God old Saybrook was beautiful and a lot to see and do + the beach !! But NEVER will stay there again!!! Looks good online don't be fooled"

"The carpeting was old and smelled somewhat musty. The air conditioner in the room was horribly loud and blew cold air across the beds. Loud children in the hallway late and early. For one night it was ok but this is a bare bones place. I expected more from a Hilton brand. The last thing is the food and muffins were stale in the breakfast area. When we checked in I had to go through hurdles so the front office lady could find my Hilton Honors number. If she had searched herself we would have been...

"My room smelled like urine and the lobby smelled like a wet dog. Bathroom was dim and dingy, ironing board stained, A/C vents were full of dust and didn’t work well. TV didn’t work either. How they can charge $150 for a room here is appalling. The front sign is the only thing nice about the property- do not let the pictures fool you, the rooms are gross."
