"First impression of the home was disappointing, the property is not maintain, the grounds/lawn is over grown with weeds and trash, no garden, the garbage can was full of trash and the house is old. The inside is very nice with newer appliances, flat screen TVs, nice bedding and a very comfortable bed, bathroom was clean, the living room was clean but had an old couch. "The area is nice, room is spacious. Cons: shower curtain is too high which caused water to spill to the floor- safety hazard. No hooks or towel racks in bathroom. No closet with hangers, but there were hangers in one of the dressers. The bed was too high for a 5"1 individual. Showerhead worked but sure could use a new one."

"The location was great- close to the waterfront and free transportation. The only available staff was very nice but didn’t speak English so we couldn’t really get local information from her. The decor was cool, fun and kitchy in a good way. The rooms are too small for a chair or tabletop so wouldn’t work well for a business trip but functional for sleeping and showering. The outside deck and pool were very nice. We would stay there again."

"My stay at the Hollander was great! It was super conveniently located as I was attending a game at Tropicana field. 5 minute drive away! The room itself was very clean and I got upgraded to a queen suite for free upon arriving! The desk host who checked me in was very friendly as was the restaurant staff. I felt safe as a solo traveler inside the hotel. Outside the hotel seemed safe as well although I stayed close just for extra precautions as I was traveling alone. I would recommend this hotel...

"We’ve stayed here before. The staff is pretty meager but helpful. There are no frills but it’s clean and in a good location."

They could have done better with some of the maintenance detail: empty the trash in the room when you service it, leave toilet paper, maybe a few extra towels. The valet service took longer than expected. Overall it was a good hotel, but seemed like it was set up for business travelers more than families."
