I absolutely fell in love with this place. We stayed at the Deluxe Ocean View suite at Beach Place Guesthouses, and honestly, it was one of the most unique and atmospheric places I’ve ever experienced. The moment you walk into the property, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world — like a tiny hidden tropical village. The whole place has this magical atmosphere with little bungalow-style homes, palm trees, bridges, fountains, hammocks, tropical plants, sculptures, and cozy hidden corners everywhere. Our suite was stunning and unlike any hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The decor had a beautiful old-world Indian / tropical vibe with gorgeous antique-style lamps, porcelain elephants, mirrors, vintage furniture, and so many fascinating details. I spent the first day just filming everything and admiring the decor like I was in a museum. The bedroom, living room, and kitchen were all beautifully designed and incredibly cozy. You could hear the ocean waves from the room, and the beach was just steps away. We even had our own private outdoor area with hammocks, which made everything feel even more peaceful. The only small suggestion I would give is that the room could benefit from a deeper detailed cleaning in some less noticeable areas. Overall though, this place completely exceeded my expectations and felt like a little paradise. Such a unique and unforgettable experience.

We only stayed one night and wish it could have been longer. Older building, but so spacious and clean. We had an unobstructed view of the beach from our windows and from the patio. Woke up to watch the sunrise with coffee in hand😃

We booked this place based on all the raving reviews and looked like a nice place to stay for our families spring break trip. Check in was typical. Upon entering the room however we were disappointed. The room was smaller than expected but doable. But the smell and overall cleanliness of the room was horrid. Whatever cleaner they use has an overwhelming scent that made the room smell like a floral scented garbage bag. There was dust on everything, walls, ceiling fan blades, trim, art work, bed frames, everything. Then there is the grim around every door handle/ door frames, light switches, anywhere that is touched regularly by guests. Possible urine stains on the wall next to the toilet. There was a lot of maintenance things as well, bathroom vanity is rotting, old drywall repairs that haven’t been painted, cabinet doors crooked or missing, kitchen sink faucet couldn’t be turned from the position it was in, rust on most metal surfaces, there was a back deck that we didn’t use other than for drying towels and swim suits because of uneven boards and exposed screw heads. The floor was also disgusting. Walk around any amount of time in your bare feet and they were almost black on the bottoms from the floor. Beach was quite and not too busy. Beach chairs need a good pressure washing. Some of the supplied beach item were in rough shape. We still had a good time and made do. If cleaned and maintained better this place would be really nice and we would give it a better rating.

Enjoyed our stay here with daughter and grandsons. Although older and needing some loving care in a few areas this is an eclectic place with many unique features. Right on the beach and we got a good view of the Artimus II launch. Our 2 bedroom guest house worked out perfectly.

We stayed here after our Disney cruise and overall had a really positive experience. When I booked, I didn’t fully think through the 4:00 PM check-in time compared to our 10:30 AM arrival after disembarking, so that’s something future cruise travelers may want to plan around. That said, the staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in early, which we were very grateful for—especially with two toddlers in tow. The property itself was exactly as described. It has a really unique, relaxed beach vibe that made it feel special. Our kids absolutely loved the outdoor activities—playing giant Connect 4, exploring the oversized chess set, and hunting for seashells around the property. We also really appreciated the amenities like sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrellas available for guests. One of our favorite parts was the evening—walking along the beach at sunset, seeing the property all lit up, then coming back to relax in the hammocks while we ordered DoorDash. It was such a peaceful, easygoing way to wind down after a busy trip. That said, as first-time Disney cruisers, the transition off the cruise was a bit tougher than expected. We were more tired than anticipated and didn’t end up enjoying the hotel as much as we had imagined. In hindsight, we may have opted to start the drive home instead.

Well, there are pros and cons for this place. The big pro is it’s literally just right on the beach. Great outdoor chairs, hammocks, loungers and picnic tables. The size of our 2 bedroom rental was good for our family of 5. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Cons: the unit was very shabby, large cracks in floorboards in main bedroom and in bathroom. Chair in second bedroom outer layer was worn through. Unit was only superficially clean, floors were still dirty, found lots of old hair and dust/lint on the floor. Blinds on windows in living and dining room were broken and couldn’t be closed making it bright both at night, due to the lighted outdoor areas, which stayed lit all night and during the day. Dining table was sticky. It was quite chilly weather during our stay and yet we couldn’t get the AC to cool the place down and we had to close the windows because the guests below us were extremely loud and smoking pot (obviously not the fault of the establishment, but frustrating nonetheless) these guests were loud and smoking well past 11 PM. The property had grills and a firepit, neither of which we used, but we did try to use the beach chairs, but only 2 worked because the rest were rusty and broken. Plenty of beach toys. There was a washer and dryer in the unit, but if there was detergent provided we did not find it. Overall, the location is good, but we probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again due to the shabby, run-down state and lack of cleanliness.

The outside of this place is amazing. There is no pool but that’s ok because the big pool is just steps away. They have plenty of chairs and books that you can borrow. There are a few negatives that we made management aware of.

Such a quaint little beach spot amongst all the hotels and condos. The staff was warm and friendly. We loved being right on the water and loved the eclectic tropical island vibe of the place. We will definitely return.

Property location was good, right on the beach, property itself needs an overhaul, linens were old and stained, furniture old and stained, appliances and cutlery, pots and pans, all old and left in a dirty state when we arrived. Unit just needs a full refresh which would improve this spot massively. Staff were all friendly and communicated well.
