"The property and room were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bed was great and the shower was lovely. However, the receptionist could have been more helpful on both the first and second night of my stay. The first night it might have been useful if she’d been able to tell me where/how to catch the night bus after my delayed journey meant I arrived Chamonix after 10pm - she obviously knew I was a female travelling alone. The second night she was most upset that I might actually want to buy a drink from the bar. After I waited 15 minutes, I asked for a second time, at which point she rolled her eyes and only when I persevered did she begrudgingly rise to her feet to ask someone else if I could buy a drink. Aside from that - as the hotel reception and bar close early, and there is nowhere else locally to purchase drinks or snacks, it might be wise to have a vending machine in the foyer for soft drinks and nibbles."

"Great place our second visit. Smart without seeming snooty. Very welcoming of children. Great food, very chilled atmosphere. My only request, please get some non-alcoholic beer in!"

"Spent two nights during summer. Excellent stay for a great price. Great space, good accommodations. The staff accommodates English speakers and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. They even upgraded us to a mountain view room and offered to hold our luggage for 1.5 days when we went to camp at Lac de Cheserys. Although it seems somewhat remote from city center, it is actually quite accessible and they often provide shuttle service to and from the hotel. There was also a miscommunication which led to them sending shuttle service to pick us up at the Chamonix Mont-Blanc train/bus station even though we had arrived by other means. Thankfully, they were patient with us regarding that. Highly recommend for anyone planning to spend a few days in Chamonix."

"Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. There was no air con and it’s not a traditional hotel as you stay in chalets scattered around the grounds. There was some construction work going on when we stayed. Great location and nice pool."
