"An ideal stopover for us on our way to catch the ferry from Aberdeen. It's a relatively quiet part of the A1, leafy, and fields with distant views of Bamburgh and the sea (all rooms have this view so away from the road). We had a great family room, a bed each for us - 3 adults and 2 pooches. Staff were very friendly and hard working. Breakfast was great, tasty and plentiful. Thanks all, see you on our return."

The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant.
