"Had a fantastic girls weekend in Charleston, and the hotel was key in that. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is luxurious. The restaurant was totally happening, and it had great drink options. Ee never heard the neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase a girls getaway package that included a bottle of bubbles, a charcuterie board, in room massages, and gift certificates to local businesses. "

"Parking valet seems expensive until you try to find parking elsewhere and realize it's even more expensive to park in one of the decks overnight. The breakfast and happy hour wine/cheese was a really fun thing to do each day during transition hours. The room upstairs is so nice with great views. Everyone was very friendly. The location cannot be beat. "

"Beautiful luxury hotel in the perfect location. Wakabity score10+! The staff were extremely welcoming and gracious throughout our stay mirroring the Southern hospitality of the propery. Would have loved to have more variety for breakfast entree options. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful city. We will be back to Planters Inn on our next trip to Charleston"

"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Restaurant and courtyard were great to eat, drink, do a little work and get some sun. Gym is adequate for a quick workout. Walking distance to the harbor, bay, and all the great food and drink in town along, with historical sights. Staff was great."

"We paid about 600.00 per night for the "city view" and our view was the back of the property, complete with 5 open dumpsters and a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was really nice and the location is great."

"The space was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was old (to be fair, buildings down there are old) but it is in need of a renovation. The cleaning supplies they use in the hallway/main areas gave me headaches. "

"The location of the Hampton Inn is fantastic. About a 20 min walk to downtown and 10-15 minutes in any direction gets you plenty of restaurants. The hotel is right across from the main pick-up stop for the free shuttle that takes you to all the main places. The breakfast was ok. Normal hotel fare. The staff, especially the front desk were top notch! Very helpful and kind. Our room had an issue with getting the AC to run correctly. We froze a lot! We reported it and they sent someone in but it...

"Ideal location for walking to points of interest around Charleston. Most importantly accommodations were very clean, room was spacious and staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Charleston especially if they don’t have a car."
