"Upon arrival to check in, I was told they upgraded me to a double queen room my original reservation was for a king room. I do not understand how a double queen is an Upgrade New. There were kids there with their families that had gotten the elevator floor wet with their feet from the pool mixed in with the natural dirt from the earth floor. The carpet in the aisle, walking down to my room was all pulled up and ruffled like you were walking on a wave of water. Literally, the carpet was in waves. There were stains on the carpet in my room. I really expected to feel more at home in a clean pristine environment at a Windham hotel. With my new job, I will be making occasional visits to Hattiesburg Mississippi, but rest assured I will be trying a better hotel. On a positive note, the air worked great. My room was really cool. The hairdryer was a plus the refrigerator and microwave was a plus and worked very well. The bed was very comfortable sheets and linen was very clean and the TV was a smart TV and worked well."

"The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They truly made our stay enjoyable, and I would give them 5 stars without hesitation. While the hotel itself was just okay and could benefit from some repairs and updates, the staff mentioned that a complete renovation is planned soon, which is encouraging. The hotel was clean, and the two-bedroom layout was perfect for our family, providing plenty of space and comfort during our stay. Overall, we had a positive experience and appreciated the excellent service from the staff."

"For whatever reason there was someone stomping around in a room above ours, intermittently, ALL NIGHT for one of the nights during our three-night stay. It was annoying. Some of the upholstered furniture in the room had stains and the bathroom door could not be opened all the way, bc it interfered with the toilet. We didn't complain because we didn't pay a lot for the room and it was pretty clean. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part."
