Really fun hostel! Had a private room with shared bathroom and it was perfectly comfortable. The hostel.even organized a St Patty's celebration with green beer!

You can feel directly like at home in this big house full of space (both in rooms and commons), located in a quiet area near the centre and the sea, with all equipments, various and clean bathrooms, nice swimming pool and helpful staffs!

Bed bug infestation - but lovely staff

I woke up covered in bites and spotted several bed bugs in my sheets. That's a travelers nightmare. The staff seemed used to this complaint, they dryed my clothes for free and I used the courtyard to spray down everything else to avoid bringing the critters with me. The staff were very helpful and kind, and also sealed off the room to fumigate it. I also didn't pay for my stay, I just assumed they weren't going to charge me. The rooms are quite old and not very comfortable, breakfast was just toast. I can't recommend this place as I fear they will struggle with this infestation for a while, they seemed sort of resigned to it. I feel bad for leaving a bad review as the staff were so sweet, but with 20 large itchy welts and a day missed debugging my things I really have no choice.

Recommended

A quiet hostel in the early season but comfortable, friendly and social with the guests. The town itself is pretty quiet, but that’s a positive to escape BA’s crazy nights.
