"Breakfast provided is a joke as the food offered is a package of commercial snack cake (2 in a bag). There are hot water and coffee provided 24 hours. Nothing else other than the snack cakes. …. a stretch to call it breakfast. Luckily, one can walk over to McDonald’s for a better and more substantial breakfast.
Staff is alway helpful and efficient. You need to pick your room’s location: not next to the laundry room on the ground floor (since machines start to run at 7am). We have stayed there multiple times and room service had been skipped a couple of times (during our multi-day stays). It is not a big deal for us. When we brought this to the attention of staff, staff assured us that it would be serviced the next day.
The pool is not heated so water is cold. Even in 90+ degree weather, water temperature can be shockingly cold. (And pool is closed at 8:00pm, we found this out at 8:10pm; there are no posted hours.)
The microwave and refrigerator are added features so that leftover food can be reheated.
If you like cats, then it won’t bother you; cat food dishes are placed in entrances. I can smell cat poop from time to time. Not a pleasant smell; it is not so overwhelming that I have to cover my nose, but it is there. There are homeless people in the parking lot (for the shade and rest). I have no problem with it nor have been bothered.
The rate has been increased since May by $15+ for the same room, from $60+ to $75+ before tax."
