Splendid! Spacious, clean, well-furnished, convenient

Our stay in was wonderful. The cottage is spacious (an American-size king-size bed), very clean, and convenient to all the places we wanted to visit in east Devon and west Dorset. The Kitchen was well-equipped, and all other furnishings quite fine. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was an unexpected delight on cool mornings. The garden was lovely, and there was plenty of parking. The hosts were nearby to answer questions and provided a guidebook that had local maps, brochures and other tourist information. Not what we had booked online !

Arrived having booked one double and two single beds, only to discover on arrival that they were not in the same cottage as advertised on Hotels.com. The owners did their upmost to resolve the situation and could not have been more helpful. Would definitely return !

Cosy and comfortable in pretty village

The White Cottage is lovely. Very welcoming and within walking distance of a friendly local pub. Nothing is too much trouble. I love to read the newspapers over breakfast. We arrived late and had to go out again to a meeting and were given a key and directions to avoid the roadworks to our destination.

Superb!

This is an excellent B&B and is great value for money. It is in a superb location and is exceptionally well run. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and obviously very well loved! We stayed two nights did and not want to leave! Our room was large and little extras such as fresh milk in the room all added to a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome in this beautiful house.

I stayed here one night as I was having a business meeting locally, it was a quick visit but long enough to establish that the service was impeccable as was the owner's welcome. Lovely comfortable room and a great breakfast - would definitely recommend!

Well worth a stay.

Lovely listed and thatched-roofed building in quaint and historic town. Lovely rooms, extremely friendly owners and fulsome breakfasts. Love the 4 cats too .... Basil, Cybil, Polly & Manuel(la).

Superb B&B

Very friendly owners who were extremely welcoming and helpful. Very comfortable spotlessly clean room and excellent breakfast. A great base from which to explore the area.

A quintessential English cottage

We found this location ideal for touring the Jurassic Coast. Such a pretty village. Our lovely host, Jane was so helpful, and hospitable. Our food was good, and Service, again very polite, and attentive. Our bedroom was huge. We had the Largest bed we have ever slept in. The decor was in keeping with the cottage, but fresh, extremely clean, and comfortable. We had a huge new bahroom too. . The gardens were well kept, private and you could enjoy a glass of wine sitting there very comfortably. There is a terrific pub, The Kingfisher, next door to the B&B which serves fabulous food. So this was handy, after being our all day. We would definitely recommend anyone to themselves to a visit to the White Cottages.

Very friendly host. Building and surrounding village are full of character and quiet. The room and en suite were spacious and spotlessly clean. Easy walk to restaurants and pubs.

Excellent B & B

Old thatch roofed cottage with modern amenities and perfectly presented and maintained. Well looked after by Jane who cooked a lovely breakfast also. Overall a comfortable and homely place to stay.

Colyton White Cottages

Very friendly proprietors and staff, very clean room. I had to check out before breakfast therefore it would of been nice if the chef could of made up a couple of sandwiches to take away, other than that small thing I would definitely stay there again.

Ideal position for the Seaton Tramway Terminal

Stayed as an overnighter to break the journey to Cornwall, was the perfect choice with its position close to Lyme Regis also the Terminal for the Seaton Tramway,

Excellent b & b, exceptionally clean room & breakfast room, this place really is spotless & if you're fussy over things being clean like i am then this is the place for you, excellent staff & the owners really do put themselves out to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, I for one will be returning in the near future 😁

Very enjoyable stay

My wife and I booked for 7 days bed and breakfast at this lovely establishment. The proprietors and staff were very friendly. The room was really comfortable and clean. The service was very good with our room cleaned while we were enjoying our excellent breakfasts. We are pleased to recommend staying here.
