"Incredible experience -- bucket list lived up to all the hype - magical accommodations and incredible staff!!! Legendary history, matched by incredibly layered artwork, design, and charm. The cleaning/maid staff was so great - they even brought up cookies and fresh bottles of spring water before bed!! The concierge, Tracy, was really helpful and Oscar, our server in the Café Chelsea, made my daughter's birthday breakfast a great experience. "

"Our stay at Washington Square Hotel was excellent. We had an interior room which was very quiet and clean. The AC worked great during our unexpectedly warm stay, and staff was friendly and responsive. There was a small continental breakfast in the lobby, which included espresso drinks - great when you have a packed itinerary. They also provided coffee and water throughout the day in the lobby. You can't beat the location, and we would/will definitely stay here again. "

"The elevators were not working properly during our stay. Sometimes we waited 15 minutes for an elevator to arrive. Rooms were a bit tired. Views and location are great. "

"High design boutique hotel in an excellent location. The staff is always delightful and courteous. Great rooftop microbar. Trendy on-site speakeasy (seems to be an outside vendor, not run by the hotel) is a beautiful space and crowd managed well, service inside bar could use some work."

"Excellent hotel with clean and ergonomically furnished room that made good use of space. I was on the 9th floor and the view was wonderful to wake up to with the bed right up against the window. I especially liked the shower pressure! I had the best night sleep I’ve ever had in NY. Highly recommend! "

"The location was great! We even walked back from shopping on 5th ave to the hotel. The room was small but it was fine as we were in and out. All linens were Frette, bed was super comfortable, and the shower was hot! We were on the 9th floor so we didn’t hear any street noises. Breakfast was grab and go but there was a hot option and there was space in the cafe if you wanted to sit and eat there. It was a perfect stay for the weekend!"
