While my review is not 10/10, it is a gorgeous apartment. Plenty of space, right in the heart of Como, and it is definitely a place I'd book again. With an elevator! The insulation is great and couldn't hear any noise coming from outside - the bedroom also faces the internal courtyard. The tote with a small set of cleaning products was definitely nice to find. The team is at hand via WhatsApp and very responsive. My only remarks are about the check-in - there are several key locks in the alley all attached to a drain, and it isn't immediately clear which one is the right one, despite asking more details in advance - your key lock is on the right-hand side, few steps into the alley (see pic). I'm also not sure why I had to sign a short term letting agreement, as my contract was with Hotels.com. I went and sign without querying because I was already travelling. Bear in mind you'd agree to additional T&Cs, and I would have queried it if I had known ahead. I've left 5* for cleanliness but the floor was not swiped and mopped properly. Given the rest of the flat was absolutely spotless, I'd say it was more of an oversight, and I don't think the rating should be penalised Please include some paper towels in the kitchen and more than just two coffee pods!
