"The location was convenient for our needs. It was quiet. The listing did not let you know that you had to leave your room for your “private “ bath. The listing stated there was air conditioning, there was a fan. Wayne was friendly and personable."

"The hotel is run down and everything looks dirty. The room was so hot when we arrived as the A/C was off. The bathroom was so small that the sink was in the room itself. The toilet tank cover was mismatched. The furniture was chipped, and the blanket was super thin and the pillows small and lumpy. Wallpaper peeling, looked like mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, and the toilet was very low. The only good thing was the proximity to the airport."

"I have stayed at hotels offering free breakfasts before, but by comparison, those free breakfasts couldn't hold a candle to what ChefRobert at the Holiday Day Inn Express BDL, put on! The eggs were fresh, cooked to perfection, the bacon fresh, crisp perfect! In fact, everything was excellent and beyond expectations! Hats off to Robert, for an excellent culinary experience"

The hallway did smell a bit because the trash room door was propped open but the room itself did not. "Wasn't clean at all with cobwebs, spiders on the walls. AC was blowing dusty air and had 5 to 6 small bugs on the bed and had to squish them out. Had very good experiences with Ramada in general in other states and locations. Unfortunately here in this location it was sadly disappointing."

"Our room was upstairs on the 2nd floor. My mom is 90 there was no elevator for her. That was brutal. There was something being built near parking area which looked unfinished. We had a balcony view which looked onto the parking area. There’s a hospital across the street and during the night we heard very loud helicopter noise overhead.
