"The room was old. Not even a vent fan in the bathroom. The bar/restaurant had surprisingly good food and the gentlemen behind the bar was very pleasant and accommodating. On the other hand Ruth was rude, nasty, and just awful. Breakfast was a joke. This is a large hotel that only has a breakfast buffet. The place was filled to capacity and certainly unprepared for this breakfast debacle. The kept running out of food and had 2 self serve waffle makers with a capacity crowd, a joke. Make a pot of oatmeal, it’s easy, instead of packets of instant. The young lady is he with the more interested in making sure you’ve paid and making sure you ate. Pay when you enter or don’t sit down. And the biggest joke is they’ll let you in five minutes before they close and then when they’re ready to close are you grab what you can cause we’re closing the buffet. The police is a free-for-all people in the lobby with coolers bringing their own bottles of liquor and wine which is creating a mess everywhere. I’ve never seen a restaurant where you could bring in food from the outside and leave the mess all over the table until eventually there was nowhere to sit. And then when my son-in-law asked for a check out he was told no, because they were sold out for the next day. However when he went online availability for the next day was wide open . I guess for the price, if that’s your thing, you got what you paid for."

"I totally enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn. The room was very big and spacious, and well appointed. It’s smelled clean and fresh. The bathroom was spacious and sparkling clean. The front desk clerk greeted me with a smile, which was a pleasant surprise in this day and age. They were all efficient and well mannered. I also appreciated the free breakfast in the morning, quite a selection and a beautiful space to sit and start your day. I love this location. I will be back when I’m in the area again for sure. "

"Good breakfast, very comfortable bed, decent neighborhood, spacious king suite. Hotel is nonsmoking but hallways smelled like cigars. Could hear noise from upstairs room like furniture being dragged. Would be nice if the bedroom doors had doorknobs and a lock. Besides that, would stay again."

"Original room we had booked became unavailable due to an issue at the hotel. We were upgraded for free to a suite. The suite was clean. Great breakfast options such as waffles, eggs, Canadian bacon, toast with jelly, whole oranges, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, milk, etc. I only had two issues with the suite. First, you had to put one of the key card in the slot by the door to operate the lights in the suite. That can be a possible safety issue if someone tries to follow you for force their way into the room, they can easily snatch your key card. Luckily that did not happen to me and my cousin. Second, the shower head was on the same side as the sliding door to open into the shower. This cause some water to get onto the floor while opening the shower door. Had to use the extra towels to soak up the water. I also was hoping that the pool was open during the weekend mornings as posted on the signs by the pool area. Pool was unexpectedly closed in the mornings for deep cleaning due to heavy use by guests the previous nights."

"This place is the poster child location of “you get what you pay for“ - The good: it has an extremely convenient location, ample parking, and I was happy with the full-size kitchen, including a 2 burner hot plate, which might have been convenient. The room was large and reasonably clean, but not spectacular. For $80/night it was an OK place to sleep. The bad: the ADA – compliant bathroom was an absolute joke. The bathtub was not only difficult to get into, but dangerous. I don’t know why they built a standard tub on top of a 4 inch platform, but I can see how someone could easily step out of that tub and fall. The showerhead must’ve been installed buy an idiot There was no way to take a shower without holding the spray wand in one hand while trying to wash herself with the other. It’s the most ridiculous setup I’ve ever seen. It’s certainly not convenient, and downright dangerous for somebody with a disability. The seat on the commode was loose, there was various damage to the wall and the wallpaper that made it look shabby. There was no “free, convenient breakfast” none. At 8 AM I asked at the front desk where the coffee was, and the more than disinterested clerk said “I could make you some if you want to wait”… I opted for a Starbucks across the street. Convenient? No. The rest of the staff were rude, and the entire location did not feel safe. I’m literally stayed in some sketchy neighborhoods where the accommodations were better than this place. I won’t be back."

"The Internet was Fast Small Issue with the Breakfast However it was Taken care of Overall Lt was A Good Stay. The Whirlpool was Out of Service However Staff Happens."

"Room door was so heavy knocked me over, curtains had holes, overnite parcel sent to me took 3 days after arrival for them to produce it It was sent & paid for overnite !! staff very nice & helpful, but hotel is old & needs refurbishing Breakfast bar adequate, but not great Food in Legends very very mediocre."
