"Loved this place! Will definitely stay again. Great location, the view of the lake was amazing from our room and balcony. Everything was so clean, and it was just a perfect stay. Bed was comfortable, the shower was good. Only suggestion, and not a complaint.. maybe safety rails in the shower for those of us who need a little help with balance."

"We love August Lodge! Room was comfortable, beds great, all very clean. The outdoor space was wonderful, great fire pit, lovely patio outside the room. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to another stay!"

"If you're looking for a hotel chain- keep looking. This is not a new hotel and it shows. But if you want something with some rustic charm and don't mind some soft floorboards as you're walking in and having to figure out how to get the temperature you like with a combination of windows and AC- well, this place may suit. The common spaces are quite pleasant- the rooms are small and are really only suitable for sleeping."
