"Die Vila Santa Teresa ist ein wunderschönes, kleines Boutique Hotel, dass sich anfühlt als wäre man bei Freunden zu Hause eingeladen (das Hotel hat nur 7 Zimmer - auf jeden Fall eins mit Blick auf die Stadt und den Zuckerhut buchen!). Die Aussicht auf Rio ist atemberaubend, das Essen ausgezeichnet und der Service hervorragend. "The hotel is pretty, comfortable and clean. I was nervous when I booked because of other reviews but glad I picked Porto Bay. I didn’t have any issues with the water/shower/ toilet at all.
The staff is AMAZING! They were all so nice, kind and helpful.
It’s close to everything and you feel very safe because they have security outside the hotel.

"Very disappointed. The property itself is nice. The rooms have spider webs. The hot water is hit and miss. Some days you get it and other days you don't. Breakfast is skimpy at best.
There are 80 steps I had to take with two 20 kg bags. That is just insane. They don't tell you that at the time of booking. Also, the description of the Azul room is incorrect on Expedia. This room is NOT 568 square feet. Expedia shows free breakfast but the hotel wants to charge you for breakfast.

"I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Santa Teresa MGallery in Rio. This boutique hotel in the artsy Santa Teresa neighborhood, a mix of historic charm with modern luxury.
The location offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. My room was stylish, spacious, and very comfortable.
The staff was warm and attentive, the pool area is stunning, and the food (especially breakfast) was excellent. An oasis in Rio — highly recommended for a memorable, upscale experience!"
