"I always stay here when I visit Atlantic Beach. Being pet friendly is a huge plus the dogs love the place too. The proximity to the beach is phenomenal. The quiet at night is also very relaxing and it is only minutes to various restaurants. Will plan many more visits in the future."

"It was a fine hotel. But it didn’t measure up to the glowing reviews I read beforehand. It was newer, so that was nice. I want impressed with the TV in the room. Pretty basic, and no streaming services. Also, maybe it’s my tech ability, but the thermostat was a bit challenging to operate simply. "This hotel is really a motel. The photos and description did not begin to compare to the actual property. There were stains on both bedspreads, the bathroom tub/shower toilet were badly stained. The room was so disgusting we checked out 15 minutes after checking in, and decided to find other accommodations, which was difficult. The exterior room entrances were not safe. Do not stay at this property unless you're desperate."

"We stayed in room 7. The AC is plugged into a converter which gets so hot, it trips. So the AC turns off, the the converter turns back on so the AC turns back on and makes a beep. That goes on every 10 mins or so u til the converter completely overheats and shuts everything down for an undetermined amount of time. After leaving the AC on all day while we were gone, we came back to a room that was hotter than the outside temperature and it smelled so bad. At this point it was too late to do...

"Kate and Dustin are great hosts and serve a delicious breakfast! The Inn is spotless and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect- close to town and Oriental's beautiful waterfront is a pleasant walk just down the street. My room (Bar Harbor) was quiet, comfortable and lovely. I would absolutely book the Inn At Oriental again!"

"The room was very spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the water. The front desk representative was friendly at check-in. The only complaint was the breakfast brought to the room. You place an order the night before and it's brought to your room. The food was not good. You had to pay for parking as well."

"Hotel is a bit dated, breakfast was below average with very limited healthy options, but biggest issue was the noise. Lots of contractors staying here started leveling from 04:30 and then it was constant banging of doors till 07:00"

"Apn arrival and un packing found the refrigerator was not working. Made the call and Andrew was there in 10 minutes and assessed the problem (coil was covered in ice) so he had replaced the fridge in less that 15 minute"

"Beds and pillows are terrible. Bed mattresses need to be replaced. Sitting chair looks like it’s has been used for sex . Lots of stains it was gross. Refrigerator made terrible noise had to unplug it and not use it. Reported it and nothing was done , still in the same position I had left it in . Got poor sleep. Couldn’t change room because it was booked up."

"Staff was wonderful. Angie was always helpful and friendly. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. TV was a little wonky. Breakfast was average but I never expect a lot from continental breakfast. Felt like safe location. Very close to Cherry Point for families visiting their Marine."
