  • A gorgeous sunset at our campsite in Long Bay. The sites were right on the bay and there were proper bathrooms with showers (and hot water). They also had a communal kitchen with stoves & a fridge but you had to bring your own pots/pans/plates. They also had couches and a big screen TV (glamping!). This campground cost $15NZD/person/night. #beach

Campsite is wonderfully located next to the beach. Pool, BBQ and kitchen were clean and well maintained. Room was basic, but that is to be expected of a holiday park, overall great value for money

Staff were very polite and helpful. The venue was perfectly appointed and good value for the money. At the end of my stay I was disappointed to hear that an extra person who joined my group, was disrespectful and rude. I wish the staff had found me (the person who booked and paid for the group of 10 plus 1) to discuss the issues at the time. Still - a great location and excellent amenities.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The beach was literally outside the back door of our cabin. Fantastic walks and spectacular sunsets.

Great spot, expecially for young kids as the beach is tidal so very shallow most of the time, camp also has a pool. Short walk to a loo. Clean, friendly, great views from the pod, esp sunset.

Me and my family had a lovely time here. The seafood was on our doorstep to gather pipis/cockles. The facilities were maintained regularly and the staff were all so welcoming, kind and helpful. We hope to be able to return in the near future.
