"Great for a weekend getaway. Nice pool, great location, very family friendly. On the downside, the breakfast options were very okay and the days where you get breakfast credit are confusing and the staff won't bother clarifying beforehand."

"Run down hotel. Carpets were gross. Bathroom is super small. It didn't feel clean. The photos of the hotel on this website are deceiving. We will never stay there again. Customer service at the front desk was wonderful. Michelle helped us check in and she was so friendly and super helpful. "

"Feels like you are walking thru a trailer park with a nice view of the water. Not impressed. Place is run down but was once nice. Rooms need to be upgraded. Bed very uncomfortable… Food was overpriced. The best part of this experience was the waiter at Tidal. Escobar.. he was fantastic! "

"Room was great, super comfy and location was very convenient. I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant downstairs each day of my stay. My only complaint is that the elevator was slow and often very crowded, it seemed like they only had one running at a time. The button for the right elevator on the 5th floor didn’t seem to be working at all. Overall I enjoyed my stay and felt it was good for the price I paid."

"Amazed not only by the resort, but the entire area. It is a real beach town, authentic in a way that most California beach towns just aren't anymore. The staff was absolutely on point and made our stay comfortable and easy from arrival to departure. The grounds were immaculate and thankfully not needlessly opulent. I've really only had an experience even close to this at much more expensive resorts, and to be frank, I like this one more. The restaurants on site were absolutely delicious and priced fair. The park across the street was perfect for warly rise kids before beach time or Belmont park (a five minute walk). Really though the thing I want to really get across is the total vibe of the area...heck, I was on zillow planning our future at one point! Cannot say enough, 10 stars, amazing, will do again, absolutely recommend."
