"We had a problem with our room when we first checked in and they moved us courteously. Staff were attentive and friendly. Clean and updated property. Our only complaint was that the concierge did not reach out prior to our trip. We missed getting our son signed up for ocean explorers because we didn’t get assistance ahead of our trip. They advertise the concierge service and promise they will reach out before your trip to help you plan activities. We didn’t hear from the concierge until 24 hours...

"Gorgeous property! Quite old but healthy trees and palms throughout the gardens. Lovely Birds of Paradise and Bougainville. All of the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely want to stay there again. "

"Crown City Inn in Coronado is such a unique gem. I typically only stay in big ‘upscale’ hotels and unless they’re truly distinguished I don’t like them very much. The Crown’s beach motel vibe was perfect, it’s charming, quant, clean, and perfectly situated. Getting out of the bustle that is downtown SD, and taking retreat at the Crown was a great choice. I was the envy of my team, all of whom were stuck in some mediocre mainstream hotel in the city. Without a doubt I’ll stay here the next...
