"Beautiful hotel. Views across to Magnetic Island were lovely. The pool, which features in many photos, really was a great feature. Parking was easy, free and monitored. The rooftop area was well designed - great views and pleasant breezes. Only negative was the TV in the room. The volume could not be turned up, so it was rather difficult to hear."

"It was great to discover a very clean, comfortable hotel in a fabulous location when travelling for work for a reasonable cost. The room was great, I love that you could get a drink and meal either downstairs in the main area, or on the rooftop pool deck. It is so convenient to be able to have a meal onsite when travelling. Room and facilities were also excellent and staff very helpful and friendly."

"The Palmer Collective is centrally located in Townsville. It has its own bar and restaurant and this is the highlight of the property. The rooms are quite small, and unless I am mistaken servicing is only changing any towels and making the bed. If it is supposed to include light cleaning of the shower, toilet and basin then this is not done at all. We stayed her on two occasions and the biggest problem we had was the cleanliness of the service, when done. Nor is there any information available about the servicing. The Bar and Restaurant are great, staff are very helpful, food and drink is excellent and a reasonable price considering the many options in the locality. Parking is free and behind the hotel with plenty of available parking."
