The room was not finished - locks missing on bathroom door (just a hole waiting for the lock); no curtains or blind in the lounge area - the hot sun blazed in throughout the day and neighbouring rooms could see in, and finally, no air conditioning - the control panels are there, but not connected to anything. I REPEAT ... NO AIR CONDITIONING. The day was very sunny and very hot and the room could not be cooled down...

"Had a lovely stay here very close to the railway station and York city centre. We also opted out of having our room cleaned daily and got rewarded with drink vouchers which came in very handy for cocktails up in the roof bar/restaurant!"

"Hotel and staff were very friendly and some went the extra mile to make everything top class, including lots of tongue in cheek banter ! The only drawback was at breakfast as it was difficult to move between equipped stations (must have just hit at high peak time) so some of the hot food weren’t replenished quick enough, but the staff were soon on it. Very close to the centre and choice of close by car parks also reasonably priced. Would definitely go back and stay"
