"Good value for the price during a weekday stay. Sadly, this is an old hotel that was renovated 8-9 years ago and looks shiny from the outside but is well worn since that renovation. I found inoperable windows, tired AC units and a saggy bed. Decent breakfast and nice bar area. Staff were responsive."

"Wir hatten die Einheit 7 (The Lounge), es war wunderschön und liebevoll vorbereitet für uns. Es war alles da, was man braucht, auch zum Kochen. DAs Haus ist an der Hauptstraße gelegen, mit Geschäften, Cafes und Restaurants. Die Geschäfte schließen um 5 pm (im Mai). In der Umgebung kann man auch viele Aktivitäten machen. Wir können das Butler House wärmstens empfehlen."

"Room was so small not as shown in the picture. Sink was outside the Bathroom. Who does that? No brake fast. Only some snacks. There was a big building but gave us the room adjesent to it in a small structure looks like a cheap motel with 4 to 5 rooms. Will never go or recommend anyone."

"Would highly recommend AWOL. Excellent location walkable from the village, but also far enough to feel like you are in your own retreat. We stayed in the lodge and the room was very nice—good bed, TV, bathroom, amenities. The breakfast is terriific and much better than the standard free continental breakfast. It was rainy so didn’t use the hot tubs, hammock, etc. but it was all there."
