We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

I have been working away for over 25 years and i can honestly say this is the best place i have ever stopped, its amazing,breakfast is amazing,rooms are amazing, host is amazing and the lastly views are amazing

This is a beautiful country house hotel just outside Wexford. It is ideally situated to explore the beautiful east coast beaches and numerous historical attractions nearby. It has warm friendly hosts and offers a stonkingly good breakfast. Definitely recommended.

We had a warm welcome from Pauline and Chris who were throughout great hosts - happy to help with local visits and places to eat. A lovely setting on a useful through route just 35 minutes from the port.

Lovely apartment the staff where amazing as always we were lucky enough to have a sea view apartment fabulous view location of the talbot suite and hotel is great for local amenities, the food and staff in the hotel are excellent have stayed there many times and will continue to do so , thank you to all the staff for making it memorable

Breakfast was lovely, so much of a selection and freshly baked, room was big and spotless, staff was great and owner was very friendly and helpful, would stay again

Friendly and efficient staff. Good bedroom, good bar and great food.

Everything was impeccable- spacious and very comfortable room with lots of unexpected amenities. Such a quiet spot, but a very short easy walk from the middle of town. The property being surrounded by flowers was a delight. They did me a lovely vegan breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Would absolutely recommend, and stay again.

Great stay and a wonderful place. It's not a buffet breakfast so it can be a bit slow but that suits the pace of the place. Should perhaps leave butter, jam and marmalade on the tables. That's a fine critique but every little helps.

Wanted a room for a single night to break a journey. Could not have chosen better. Easy check in at the bar and plenty of parking. We were a couple but given a very spacious family room. It was clean with nice bedding and towels. No food on site but that is reflected in the very reasonable price. Lots of bars and eateries a short walking distance away. The recommemdations made by the host were both great.

Stayed before at the Ferrycarrig due to the facilities at the hotel and the fantastic views of the Estuary. You won't be disappointed. Only small gripe was breakfast due to self service the cooked bacon etc can be a tad cold and chewy. Otherwise good spread and plenty to chose from.

We stayed at this hotel on very short notice as we were delayed on a ferry crossing to Rosslare - this hotel is about 30 minutes' drive from the port and would be an ideal place to stay the night before a sailing or as a base for exploring Wexford and its many attractions. We arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome and the offer of food if we needed it: we had a very comfortable room with two double beds for our family of four, and a view of the Slaney River from our Juliet balcony. Water front views ,on the Quay in Wexford yet only around the corner from the main shopping areas of this town. Plenty do and lots of information of where to go in the reception area, The spa facilities were great. Just make sure you book for any special massages etc that you may like as they are in great demand. Will be going there again.
