Inside feels outdated and seems a little dark/gloomy with gray hallways and one elevator at far end of hotel (opposite far end from check in desk & past many rooms) which felt very uncomfortable walking that far to check in with young children. "The lodging was perfect for our stay. It was in close proximity to a great market and the Breachway. Check in was very easy, the room was very clean and had plenty of sets of towels and derivatives. "The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. "

"So…the site itself is in a gorgeous location so if the weather is good you will want to sit outside. The property is an older building and we expected and were fine with that. They seem to want to be a venue space more than a hotel- we knew there might be an event but the thumping music from the DJ travels.
