Very friendly and helpful staff, the room did not smell good, could have been just the town because they have a paper mill there? The ac wasn't working well, we cleaned the filters that were very dirty and that did seem to help some, the shower was great, great water pressure, that to me was the best part of the room

Excellent staff. The room was a bit warm because the sun hits the room all afternoon, but we were out for the day. Maybe bring a small fan for the night to help out the a/c. It was a hot July day and a/c was working overtime. Comfortable bed. No amenities but there is a community pool down the street you can use for a small fee. Breakfast-you might want to eat out but we managed. Eggs and heated vegetables, and you have to look for the breakfast area or you’ll miss it. Okay for an overnight stay in a small town if you’re passing through. Beautiful scenery and I highly recommend a picnic at the Humpback covered bridge and also Petticoat Junction nearby if you love butterflies!

A room had been driven through right below our room. Air conditioner did not cool the room even over night. Wasn't expensive but wasnt worth much more than a bed to sleep on.

Front desk staff were helpful and efficient. In the room, we found several (apparently well fed) ticks on the walls and ceiling. Family members also found several other bugs of unknown type, but otherwise the room was clean. There was, however, a shopping cart full of trash near the room & stairwell that did not move for the approx. 15 hours we were there. Breakfast was sparse (a bit of scrambled eggs and sausage left from earlier guests, a couple different cereals and batter for waffles), but we opted to eat elsewhere in town.

The comode ran all night. By far one of the most uncomfortable beds to sleep in(I like a super firm mattress). The water in shower never really got hot. Warm at best. There were in the mist or a remodel in their defense.

I read the reviews and saw the management is relatively new. Being formerly employed in the hotel industry, I know how difficult it is to rehabilitate a property and the reputation. These guys are doing a fantastic job and well on their way to a successful and profitable location. Any time I had a question or request, it was met with polite and eager assistance. They are very accommodating.

While the staff was nice and the bed was comfortable, that was about all that was good about this stay. The room smelled heavily like cigarettes, there were holes in the curtain (meaning 0 actual privacy as people could just see into my room), it was very loud, and the breakfast was disappointing (yogurt and white bread as options-I was hoping for even a packet of oatmeal and a bagel). As a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel very safe at this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it for solo travelers.

The rooms were adequate, bed was very comfortable. Since I stay at Quality Inns often, I did find the breakfast buffet as they called it sub par to most others I've stayed in. They should add a meat, sausage, bacon, or possibly anything, even corned beef hash which inexpensive I might add...Also other coffee, as they had the canisters there but empty.. Add a flavored variety . It was close to town n within walking distance to a few restaurants , like Randy's Dinner...that was very good and convenient to the Hotel.
