"The B&B was located in a lovely and unusual setting at the end of a cul de sac. The views were great. Our hosts were very welcoming and informal. Of particular interest was on the ongoing 'construction' but nearing completion, of a waterfall and pond within the limits of the garden. Its worth noting that the garden amd facilities were available for guests. "The hotel could be amazing but unfortunately it is now dated and needs to be refurbished. The standard twin room does not have an overhead shower and the room was dated and shabby. There was no bottled water as stated either.
The room was also very hot and they do not provide fans as standard.
The pool is lovely but does need a little TLC and the showers in the changing rooms are extremely hot. As is the general temperature of the changing rooms.

"The room did the job - but numerous issues.
Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best.
The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...
