"We rented electric bikes to ride over to the castle a few miles away. The whole process was simple. We even got to relax at the pool for a little while. The staff was so accommodating and wonderful. Beds were comfy and clean. Really can’t complain."

"This villa locates on the half hill, overseeing Oban the bay. The nice host prepares everyday fresh snacks. You got free parking just in front of the house, 5 min. walk away to ferry terminal. What do u want more!"

"The inside of the hotel is v modern and has nice amenities. Small maintenance issues need dealing with. The exterior needs some touch ups. Staff, Mia, was great and one not so hospitable. Didn’t select breakfast when told my only option was the buffet for 14.99£, despite menu offerings stating otherwise."

When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar. "This was my favorite hostel I’ve stayed in so far! As a solo female traveler I felt the town and the hostel environment was incredibly safe. The facilities as a whole were very well maintained and clean! I liked how the dorm rooms had a sink and mirror separate from a sink in mirror in the toilet room as well as the shower being separate. "Both elevators were out at one point, the staff couldn’t check me in even minutes earlier than the 3pm guideline,and the whole ‘meal thing’ felt weird about inclusions or exclusions. Pay to park (but only 10 pounds) for two nights - but still…great location for rail or ferry, but the staff couldn’t check use an upgrade. PS. Why are the damn hallways so narrow to your room? I could barely get by a maids cart…seems like the fire regulations would be wider. Narrowest I have ever seen in any hotel....

"Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated. The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious."
