This is the first time I had stayed at this hotel and I gotta say I was really impressed. According to my sources, it's a new owner. And they've done a lot of renovations, and I gotta tell you, beautiful! The staff was exceptionally helpful when I asked them to mark on the town of cranbrook map.Where the thrift stores were because thrifting in cranbrook is awesome.

Originally built in 1923 this hotel is like stepping back in time. Extensively renovated it’s a cool place to stay. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. We wish we could have stayed a couple more nights, and certainly will the next time we are in Cranbrook.

The staff greeted us with a smile. Check in took less than 2 minutes. We walked up the easy one flight of stairs to our room. The room was a studio suite with a king bed. It was very reasonable at just over $100. The modern bathroom was beautiful along with a massive shower, free toiletries & a blow dryer. 2 large TVs, comfy bed and gorgeous original brick walls. Easy walk around to little shops & restaurants. Highly recommend!
