"I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere."

"Staff were very pleasant, friendly and exceptionally helpful. The decor in the room was beautiful and it was very clean with plenty of tea making facilities including ‘proper’ mugs and a teapot with tea cosy which was a lovely extra. However the room was very, very small and it did not have any drawers or wardrobe to store clothes (there was a small rail in the corner with four hangers to hang a few items). The en-suite was also very small but it was supplied with lovely White Company...

"Helpful and flexible with uncertainty over bookings, and the accommodation was at least satisfactory in general... but there was drastically inadequate parking for a full hostel, and we were not given all the necessary info about how to gain access to the buildings ! ( a helpful resident who happened to be up late saved us from standing outside in the cold and dark. Make sure the person on the desk not only gives over the FULL keypad entry number...but also HOW to access the key pad in order...

The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. "What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"Lovely, well maintained, welcoming and well situated B & B. Friendly and helpful host. Lovely food. Nice room. Parking directly outside property and off main road. Short drive to Settle and 15 minute walk to nice local pub. Well placed for lots of lovely walks. Highly recommended."
