It ruined my initial good impression of Vancouver and B.C. Plus, Expedia must be responsible for listing this dumpster as "hotel" and be absolutely liable for milking its fees from the bookers.
It sits on Hastings st., which is only 1.5 km from drug ghetto of Vancouver and you will see same characters walking close the hotel.
Next, - what you will see is "Liquor Store" sign on it front....

We loved the saltwater pool, and the gym was clean and well equipped.
The location overall is good but it is in a slightly awkward location due to the road configuration in the area. You do need a car although it's close to 2 skytrain stations, it's not in a fun walking neighbourhood."

"Hotel is in a good location as it's a close walk to to mall and some restaurants. For the price, room is ok. I would have preferred a desk and chair to work at but that is considered a business room and not a regular king bed room. Needs some upgrades for sure. Breakfast was fine but it's right at the main desk and front door so gets a little tight. Again, for the price, and for only a couple nights, it was ok."
