This is a very historic hotel with lots of charm. If you want a modern, sterile hotel, don't stay here. If you like floors that have settled with age, friendly and interesting st aff, a great little pub with a good traditional breakfast, and steeped in the history of Scotland, this is a comfortable and safe hotel. I appreciated the value (cost and convenience) which made this stay affordable.

Such a lovely place to stay. Clean, quiet, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The gentleman who checked me in was so kind. Plus, the shower was divine - hot and water pressure was magnificent. The bed was PERFECT! Couldn’t complain at all! My only disappointment was that for a 400-year-old building, I didn’t see a single ghost! :D Highly recommend!

The Luib was a little tired looking in places but only to be expected after all as this old drovers inn is around 400yrs old. The staff were friendly, helpful & very informative on the history of the place. The food was good especially the fab fresh fish & the cost of accommodation was very reasonable. Definitely would recommend staying here

My wife, two friends, and I booked two rooms at the Luib Hotel recently. We ended up having a late check-in, but the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly right from the start. They even went above and beyond by surprising me with a cake for my birthday! The hospitality here is absolutely top-notch. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Great location, quaint, easy loading in and out, with a friendly staff... Check-in and out was simple, and we found the property as described. The hotel appeared to have some history, offering an authentic experience and comfortable stay in the Scottish Highlands.

Great stop on our way to the highlands, John and his staff are great, very personable accommodating. Really cool 400 year old inn, and the best part were the owner John and his staff

Charming and a little bit quirky, a nice place to stay in the countryside. The hotel is in an old building and has great views out the back and behind the car park. There is plenty of parking and the bar and restaurant are cozy and inviting. One of our beds was a bit lumpy, but other than that, everythings was comfortable.

Fantastic place! The customer service here is wonderful. John is an amazing guy who really looks after you, keeps you entertained, and ensures all your needs are met. To top it off, there’s ample parking and the food is absolutely super. Will definitely be back!

It's a 500 yr old drovers inn in a nice location. My grilled fish dinner was very nicely cooked. We wanted to sit on the chairs outdoors, overlooking the valley, but sadly all were covered in bird poop. It's a bit down at heel, but friendly.

This is a nice old hotel. They even upgraded our room for no reason. It is an old building, that’s part of the charm, but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. There’s a cozy restaurant down stairs and the grilled fish was very tasty.
