"Wonderful staff. Convience of a restaurant. Excellent breakfast and pizza. Had a pool. Excellent birds around and we heard monkeys most of the night and finally got to see them at sunrise. Definitely off the beaten path."

"This place really sucks, seems pretty nice in pictures but has been neglected, apparently for years. There are things like the balcony light not have a switch, the one of the celling fas not working, a single ac unit for the whole place. For these day and age not having Wifi, seems pretty ridiculous. The kitchen is supposed to be semi-equiped, but there is almost nothing. No cookware not utensils, not even coffee mugs. In general everything is in a very poorly and abandoned state. "

"It just wasn't what we were expecting. The sunset views and the beach, well Playa Blanca was breathtaking. Playa Mantas was pretty dirty and we only stayed there long enough to find out how to get to Playa Blanca. The breakfast was probably the best part and most accurate. I was traveling with my mother and we both have mobility issues. Maybe I did not research enough but I was under the impression that the beach was "steps" from the resort and they could accommodate mobility issues. We...

"The hotel is really quiet and clean. The breakfast is delicious. The beds are super comfortable. It's a very convenient location between San Jose and places like Jaco. "

"The pools were a lot of fun. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Our room had a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher which allowed us to get food at the local market. Self-laundry service was convenient as well."

"Clean room and steps from the pool. The air conditioner is ice cold and the bed very comfy. We also liked the spacious shower. Pops ice cream is to die for and we enjoyed the short walk to mantas beach where we saw many monkeys with their babies, a sloth and her baby too along with the resident macaws! The pool is clean huge and very welcoming!! We liked the iguanas sunning beside the pool too. We would stay again, very private and abundant wildlife too"

"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "
