"Such a beautiful house, and our room was fantastic. We stayed one night and the breakfast was delicious. No problem parking; the grounds were well kept. Jodi welcomed us, and even helped with dinner reservations. I loved the bathrobe touch, and the room was super cute. The price was a bit high, but we only stayed one night, so no discount for multiple nights . We really liked our short stay, and how close it was to walking to a restaurant."

"Location was good. Check in process was easy. The beds were comfortable. I don’t prefer to degrade but I also want to be honest though. The room was falling apart. There is obvious water damage. Drywall was falling off walls and ceilings. Several old patches. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bed and bathroom were mostly clean, but the carpet was full of hair and probably hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were several spider webs on the walls and stains on part of the comforters....

"Rooms are for sleeping as staying in them any longer not too appealing. Clean but basic; tired and small. Restaurant was more modern making it a nice place to sit and sample some rather good food. Swimming pool and sauna serves its purpose well. Lounge areas comfortable and inviting; a good place to sit if you can’t bare the bedrooms. Great location for Main Street, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Also, great location to explore the Cairngorms with an abundance of activities to participate...

"This is obviously a budget hotel now. The house itself was once a very grand house and it has a fascinating history for sure. The views are good and our room was basic and clean, as well as warm. The bed in our room (56) had not been put together properly though, so there was a metal ridge down the centre that was raised up too high and should have been placed lower. Our main issue though was that we heard loud voices at around 4am. Men were walking around the corridors of the hotel and talking...
