Penn's View Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was our first time staying at the Penn’s View Hotel but will not be our last. Our room was spacious, so clean and even had an outdoor terrace. Check in was easy and efficient and the staff was friendly and helpful. Neighborhood has so much history and plenty of places to find coffee and food. We parked on the street and made use of the parking app. But the hotel does have paid parking."
Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District

"I had a great stay at Wyndham. Everything was pretty good. I would like to mention something here that was not good at all. I was offered an upgrade for $15 per night for the King suite. I accepted. The king suite didn't have curtains over the big window so we had lots of light in the room in the suite from the street below. I really need a dark room to get a good night's sleep. I feel like the upgrade you offered me was of zero value."

"The engineered flooring was more desirable than old carpet, but it needs to me cleaned/mopped on a regular basis. It wasn’t bad but it could’ve been cleaner. The complement of housewares was lacking, specifically the silverware. The plates were mostly dirty so I ran the dishwasher with everything I would use. The pool area is very small and was extremely crowded but that’s not a flaw or issue. I will definitely return but maybe midweek next time."

"For our very short stay the room was beautiful! It was clean, the bed was comfy and the couch was comfy. The ONLY thing is that I fell getting out of the shower because the floors get very wet from condensation. Maybe put fans in the bathrooms to help."

"Had since an amazing stay at this hotel. I’ve stayed at many different hotels but was by far one of the best! The bathroom was clean with fresh decor and good lighting. I have allergies so the carpet wasn’t my fav but atleast the air vents were cleaned. Even though the hotel is near a busy street, the rooms were sound proof and was able to sleep peacefully. Overall 5/5 experience and will be back"
