"It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile. Abbiamo usato la SPA (ad uso esclusivo), abbiamo cenato al ristorante (decisamente tra i top dell'intera Sicilia), abbiamo goduto di una sistemazione confortevole e rilassante. "We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!"

"El Spa estube cerrado durante toda la estancia por un problema tecnico. Esto afecto notablemente la experiencia, habiendo sido el spa un elemento principal al momento de eligir este hotel. La tranquilidad, que tendria que ser una caracteristica de este establecimento, se vio afectada notablemente por la presencia de un grupo familiar muy grande y muy ruidoso que practicamente monopolizo la sala desayuno y que dejaba los niños jugar, critar y correr en los passillos sin parar. "This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery.
