Convenient short drives to Great Sand Dunes NP, Ft Garland Museum & Cultural Center (a wonderful must visit), San Luis (oldest town in CO). One hour drives to Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad in Antonito, Joyful Journey hot springs spa in Moffat (another must visit), and the UFO Watchtower (a crazy roadside attraction only found in America!)
