Motels in Cumberland County

The Edgewater was a great seaside motel near to the pier. The staff we spoke to were friendly & welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean. The only thing we struggled with was the soft mattress. Other than that we enjoyed our 3 night stay and visited Portland and Kennebunkport as both are approx 40 mins away from Old Orchard Beach.

Lovely staff, great location, clean rooms

Although the furnishings in the room were quite old it was all well maintained and very clean. Fridge and microwave in room were useful although the cups provided weren't microwavable. The older man on duty at the desk when we arrived was very helpful, unfortunately, I didn't catch his name. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment. However we were very happy with the facilities and service for such an inexpensive stay.

Friendly staff. Very clean. Great location for outlets.

The resort has a calm and relaxing feel. The sunset and sunrise on the lake are beautiful. The room was comfortable

A very comfortable motel with a terrific king size bed. Very well heated too.

Really friendly check in

Fine hotel. The breakfast situation was a bit sad (very bad coffee machine, could at least put out a kettle with coffee and a french press, which would be so low effort for the hotel but such a difference for guests) but it's a budget option, so not surprised. People are only coming and going late at night and in the morning, which woke us up, but that was to be expected for the price point.

We couldn't have been happier with this choice. For a budget motel, the rooms were very well equipped, thoroughly cleaned and well presented. The owner was very attentive and affable, clearly interested in ensuring his guests are well looked after. An excellent stay - thank you.

Very good experience.

Reception staff was very welcoming other guests were very friendly great location next to beach and motel was very clean and tidy. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

Very pleasant place. We were upgraded to a room with a sea view which was lovely. Complimentary breakfast was great too with lots of choice.

Surprisingly good facility - clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds - was better than we expected. We lost one of our keycards - they replaced it with no problems or charge (we later found it so returned it on checkout). Definitely recommend this place - it's not the absolute best - but it's way above average in my opinion.
