The friendliness and helpfulness and happy smiling faces of the staff touched my heart. They even held our luggage for hours which made roaming around the city so convenient and stress free for us. They also helped us call a cab at the end. Over all it was a wonderful stay and I will surely book again. Thank you!

Great staff. Cute, if somewhat dated, rooms. Good breakfast. Our second room was next to a bar today played loud music well into the night. This is pretty par for the course with boutique hotels. Just bring earplugs.

Maria,Estamos muy sorprendidos por su comentario.Reiteramos que, en cuanto Ud. nos informo de la perdida de sus zapatos (supuestamente en nuestro hotel), iniciamos la investigacion correspondiente: Busqueda en el reporte "lost and found", busqueda nuevamente en la habitacion, y entrevista con el personal de house-keeping. Todo esto, sin encontrar novedad alguna al respecto. Este hecho, aunado al hecho de que el personal House-keeping trabaja mucho tiempo con nosotros, sin reporte alguno de este tipo, reafirma nuestra conviccion de que estos zapatos no se extraviaron aca, y por lo tanto no podemos tomar responsabilidad alguna al respecto. (Ademas, comentamos que el personal de vuestra agencia de viajes nos comento que Uds estuvieron en otras ciudades / hoteles, donde, estimamos, podrian haberlos dejado antes de venir a nuestro hotel).Acotamos tambien que luego del check-in Uds estuvieron algunas horas en el hotel; tiempo en el que les hubiesemos reportado directamente si encontrabamos dichos zapatos al momento de la limpieza de la habitacion.Finalmente; mientras que comprendemos y sentimos su malestar al haber extraviado dichas pertenencias, rechazamos rotundamente su afirmacion sobre nuestro personal y nuestro hotel, donde nos esforzamos en brindar el mejor servicio a nuestros huespedes.Sin otro particular, quedamos de Ud. muy atentamente,

This hotel is so welcome. Nice staff! The breakfast is the best one we had in Peru. We stay in the two floors room and it was a great size for our family with two little kids. Location is good too. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic stay - the staff are some of the nicest people we’ve met on our travels (and we’ve stayed 2 weeks in Colombia and now 1 week in Peru). The property is lovely and decorated in a traditional Peruvian style which is great. The bedroom we have is massive with a huge bed that could easily fit four people! They have also been very accommodating, giving us a packed breakfast at 4 am for our early Inca trail start, and storing our luggage for a day. 10/10 - highly recommend you stay!

The hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was way more than I expected. Hotel is walking distance to markets, and restaurants. I would definitely suggest it to my friends if they ever go to Cusco and Machu Picchu.

This is a great property in every respect including breakfast. The only downside is that most rooms face the courtyard where all sounds resonate strongly. We were lucky that our room was almost the only one to face out, and it was still a bit noisy through the door, but bearable.

Good cheap place
Great place to stay for cheap. Excellent location near San Pedro station if you have an early morning train. They store your luggage and it’s also close to the San Pedro market.

Property was in a bit more run down area but very close to nice restaurants and shopping. Staff were wonderful. Nice big rooms with comfortable beds. Wonderful free breakfast. No elevators, just added to the extra exercise I got when I was there. I would recommend and would stay there again😀

This is the best hotel we stayed at in all of Peru! Super friendly staff, super clean, and delicious breakfast provided (including an egg station!) They even had to-go breakfast bags for us on our early tour days. They went above and beyond for us. Thank you! Oh, and the only hotel with filtered water to fill up water bottles in the lobby!

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. The entire staff was wonderful and very helpful! The owner Juan gave us great guidance regarding best options for tours and tickets. The breakfast options were great and the laundry service fee was reasonable. The staff provided us with packed breakfast on the days we needed to leave the hotel before the scheduled breakfast time, sometimes even before 6am. However, our experience was made much more special by Chasqui, the owner's pet Bischon Frise'. I will definitely recommend all my friends to stay at this property when they visit Cusco. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

I stayed at Amerindia this past September and May 9-18. Very nice people, helpful. Gave me the same room and let me keep the room while gone on 4/3Inca trail hike for small fee. Beautiful old but updated. Breakfast very good. I like that they reply to my messages quickly. Very accommodating.

Stayed here for 5 nights last November 2022. I arrived early and rooms are not ready for check in. I was suffering from altitude sickness and the guy(front desk) sorry, I forgot his name was really nice and provided me a room to rest. All staff are nice and friendly, breakfast were good. I would stay here again next time I visit Cusco.

Very clean, convenient, half block to San Pedro Market, 10 min walk to Plaza de Armas and most of all, all the staff are so accommodating, kind and helpful. Above all Juan is an excellent and wonderful manager. Highly recommended. If we return back to Cusco definitely would come back to this hotel.

The location of this hotel couldn’t be better - it is about 100m from the market square and the train station that takes you to Machu Pichu. The beds are comfortable (except the sofa bed which could do with a thicker mattress) and the breakfast is pretty decent. But it is the staff that make this place so good - the owner Juan is so helpful, arranging taxis and tours, looking after luggage while we were away for a night in Machu Pichu and giving advice on things to see and how to book train tickets etc, the early morning lady cooked eggs to order and makes a delicious fruit salad and the evening lady is super friendly and helpful. The only issue which marred the stay slightly was the laundry lady losing half a dozen items of our clothes and then stroppily informing us that we didn’t give them to her, before eventually finding them and having to sheepishly own up to misplacing them. Overall this is a great value for money hotel in a super location with an attentive owner who makes you feel very well looked after.

Great stay. The staff was super nice and helpful and the room was clean and had everything I needed. The view from the 3rd floor overlooking the church is beautiful. They even helped me find a great place to eat alpaca and made a reservation for me!

Great location and customer service
The property was clean and comfortable and located very close to the mercado as well as the other Cusco attractions. I us a block from the Peru Rail ticket office. A very nice hot breakfast is served daily and the customer service is outstanding. The only small issue I had with my room was that the heater did not warm up the room however, the bed has adequate blankets so once you try to go to sleep, all is well.

Great hotel. Charming, modern, clean and in a location that is convenient to all the sites in Cusco. Plus the hotel serves a lunch of the local cuisine that is delicious and flavorful. The Pisco sours are memorable too! It's a warm and welcoming place to stay in an incredibly interesting city.

Location Charm Gracious Team = One delightful stay in Cusco. The city is fascinating and invites exploration into the many neighborhoods from the Plaza de Armas to San Las and Qoricancha. And at the end of the day, returning to Amerindia was like coming home - warm, welcoming, delicious local cuisine, friendly faces, great care to keep all safe. Such a great place to stay when discovering one of the great cities on earth.

This hotel is a gem. From an ideal location to warm hospitality, flavorful local cuisine and remarkable architecture, I found the hotel to be so delightful, I returned three times. Tucked around the corner from the Mercado de San Pedro and a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas y Qoricancha, the hotel features comfortable accommodations and exceptionally caring owners. When in Cusco, this is my "go to" hotel.

Top-Notch Hospitality and Comfortable Rooms
We were so blown away by the hospitality at Amerindia. We took the very first train in the morning to see Machu Picchu, and our hosts insisted on having a bagged lunch ready for us when we left (despite me telling them the hour was too ungodly for them to be up for us!). It ended up being a lifesaver because we were starving on the train ride. On top of that, they were generally so hospitable, preparing us some tea when we were sick from altitude, making us a delicious hot breakfast when we didn't have to leave super early, and helping orient us to where to get a quick dinner. I would 100% stay here again.
