Ladd Natural Bridge is one of the most impressive natural arches in Ohio. The bridgespan is 40 feet long, 12 feet wide and 5 feet thick--strong enough to hold a vehicle. In fact, it was once promoted as a tourist attraction that some visitors actually drove their cars over. The arch is located in Cutler, OH inside a state nature preserve, however the preserve is surrounded by private property. So, in order to visit, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources must be contacted to obtain an access permit. (It's free!) #FindingtheUniverse
Boord State Nature Preserve has a short 3/4 mile loop trail that meanders through an old pine plantation, into a natural woods and along a creek with a seasonal waterfall. #FindingtheUniverse
