Hotels.com offered an upgrade to a suite which I accepted and was confirmed in writing. Upon check-in was told that Hotels.com frequently do this even if the property is fully booked. Very disappointing. Room was ok. Quiet. Awful smell emanating from the toilet though.

Paid £70 for a triple room, last minute on a back holiday Sunday, included breakfast buffet. For that money, you can't go wrong, it was excellent value. We just needed somewhere to sleep and shower - it's not the kind of place you would choose for anything more than that.
