Information from Festival Park: 'The works were carved away from site during 1991. They are made to operate as conventional garden ornamentation, within a constructed garden. The boxing gloves are there to depict some of their associated aspects, such as maleness and competition. The dolls depict something of how an image is idealised for mass consumption, becoming a distortion of the human figure. Don’t be put off with the outside of the hotel it’s a bit shabby and need some TLC however inside was lovely staff where lovely too. The parking was a bit expensive £44 for 48hrs I do think should be free or reduced rate for people using the hotel! Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely ...

Noisy room next to cleaning cupboard where was woken each morning at 5-6am. Room lost all power during the stay for a period resulting in having to sit in lobby to wait for power to be restored.
