"Location was good, very handy, close to Southern Cross station. Staff were nice. I ended up having to move rooms because the room I had booked had a connecting door to the adjoining room and you could hear the neighbour. I wish this information had been clear when making the booking. Apparently all of their studio apartments have adjoining doors to other rooms. One bedroom apartment was spacious and kitchen had all utensils. TV was 55 inches I believe which is quite generous."

"The rooms were very clean and the toilets However the coffee cups weren’t washed as they had sticky coffee stains on the bottom otherwise I will be staying here again. Hotel is also located in a very good place close to most shops and the trams. Thank you to staff for great service.."

"とにかく立地が良いです。サザンクロス駅スカイバス発着所の目の前で、買物にもすごく便利でした。午前10時頃にホテル到着のため、フロントにチェックイン時間まで荷物を預かって欲しいと頼んだところ、到着時間からチェックインさせてもらえて大変助かりました。部屋も綺麗で、ルームスリッパもあり使い勝手が良かったです。またチョコレートアワーにはスイーツが無料で提供され、ウォーターサーバーやジムもフリーで24時間利用でき、快適に過ごせました。メルボルンに来た時にはまたぜひ利用したいです。"

"The place was a great spot in Southbank. Within walking distance to the many of the features. Great gym and breakfast. A special shout out to Paul from the Edwin Cellars Bar. He knows his wine and is always happy to recommend great wines to try. "

"It was not like the pictures. We stayed 4 nights & our room was not fully serviced. We had to ask for towels etc. The room carpet was worn & old. Some of the furniture broken. The hall carpet stained. Look for another hotel!"

Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay - I had to call to have rubbish collected and fresh towels brought up. I think buffet breakfast could be expanded and concierge staff more helpful - they were not really forthcoming with information - I had to ask lots of questions."

"We enjoyed our stay at Clarion Suites Gateway. We were a group of 5. The staff were extremely helpful and quick to deal with a couple of minor issues. We were upgraded to a penthouse suite which was very much appreciated. They accommodated the bed layout we needed and the bedrooms are large and comfortable. The apartment was spacious and had fabulous views across the river. We would recommend this property, which is ideally located, close by to main Melbourne attractions and public transport."
