"My stay was like living in an exclusive European castle. The property near arts and The Knox Museum. Parking is close, the hallways and halls are wide, well lit and filled with real art and paintings. There was even nooks and sittings areas in each great hallway to sit with friends or family.The room was super quiet and everything was new and comfortable. A memorable stay."

"With vibes of the Overlook Hotel in "The Shining" this century old building has the look and feel of a dowager with art deco accents of a premier structure of the early 20th century. The Hotel occupies only the second floor of the building. The rooms are clean but maintenance is lacking, some fixtures were inoperative or loose. "The major pros : location - steps from Allentown gay village . Free outdoor parking . Charming hotel reminds me of being in an old fashioned movie. If you want modern etc don’t book here but if you’re after charm go for it. This hotel is kind of like an old apartment building but it’s a place to sleep and recoup."

"If I could give the staff more than 5 stars, I would. Especially front desk (and especially especially the gentleman who did my check out). Friendly, personable, helpful, and so, so kind. Great ambassadors for the city! The location was perfect for my needs (we had to visit the U.S. Passport Office). The room & furnishings were a wee bit tired (furniture battered, rug could use refreshing, shower/tub could use updating), but it was clean, comfortable, and not terribly expensive."

"The breakfast staff were extremely rude and disrespectful, failing to refill empty food items or adequately assist guests. When we asked for fruits and cupcakes, we were rudely told to arrive at 6:30 AM. Furthermore, only one person was making omelets, causing a 30-minute wait, and there was absolutely nowhere to sit"
