"We had a reservation for several nights but ended up checking out after one night due to the extremely uncomfortable beds. I had reserved a room with 2 Queen beds but the beds were only doubles. The mattresses were very firm and unsupportive. My entire spine hurt from sleeping on this mattress and therefore I did not get any sleep. My husband experienced the same."

"The “continental” breakfast amounted to 3 choices of pre-packaged donuts or pastry, a dispenser with orange juice or coffee. The coffee was good. There is NO daily maid service, in fact NO maid service AT ALL unless you request it. You get what you pay for, I suppose."

"The room was clean, but we had to continuosly go down for clean wash cloths, towels and toilet paper. Alot of the time there was no one at the desk. The sign on the mirror said that they cleaned the room every 3 days, we were there for 5 days and it didnt happen and there was supposed to be coffee in room but no one came to fill the basket with coffee pods. Will never stay there again. Dont waste your money to be irritated. The breakfast was all microwave stuff. Tasteless"

"Good breakfast- we really enjoy our breakfast. my recognition to the lady who works in the kitchen she does excellent job- very nice person so kind person. Say HI to her in behalf me and my husband. Room was clean , beds are comfortable. Bathroom are clean- just need make sure to refill shampoo, conditioner and body wash it was not enough for our stay (3 nights). I will reserve this hotel for future visit and recomen this hotel."

"My recent stay at this property was deeply disappointing due to a severe lack of cleanliness, neglected maintenance, and unprofessional management. The room itself was in unacceptable condition: the TV didn't work, the bathtub was stopped up and visibly dirty, and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. To make matters worse, the smoke alarms kept going off. When no staff bothered to investigate or fix the issue, I was forced to take the unit down myself just to get some peace...

"I was in Hastings to participate in the Run for the Roses 5k and my wife and I stayed at the Confluence. It was all that I had hoped it would be when I booked my stay. The hotel itself was amazing, situated right on the banks of the Mississippi River. The room was fantastic as was the staff. It's close to parks, restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walk.
