"The staff was really nice and helpful. I stayed with my 2 kids for 5 days and we ate breakfast at the hotel every morning and went swimming at the hotel pool every evening. I ended up needing things like deodorant, cough drops, and laundry detergent. I literally found all those things in the lobby shop of the hotel. "My daughter and I stayed here 3 nights for a trip to Carowinds! We frequent Carowinds, but have never stayed here before. We definitely will be back. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was clean. It was a bit hot at first and I do not do well in the heat, but it cooled down after a couple hours. Pool was clean. Breakfast was good. Felt very safe which has not been the case in some other hotels near the area. Also, the beds were comfortable. Just a great place to stay. "

"I have been staying here when I come to town and they literally treat you like family. I say it’s my home away from home. Very peaceful and laid back atmosphere. The breakfast is A1. Hands down the best coffee. I have No desire to lodge anywhere else when in Cornelius/Lake Norman. They are renovating the property but that’s not ever been a problem either. Try it out.
