I have stayed at the mermaid plenty of times and been a good experience. But this time I got a cheaper room witch was not in rentable condition it stunk realy bad mold everywhere carpet need replacing as I think that was the smell of rotting And I will not be returning Starff were nice and cold beer .

The rooms were very small and had very limited facilities. The kettle and mugs were old and stained. The only dining option was the pub which was reasonable. Very little else within walking distance

fair to average motel, food was great stayed during a busy period where we were woken up every night multiple times by noisy neighbours existing the pub seems to be no controls to keep house guests courteous couldnt fault food or service
